OOTD: " Im Back"

Hey everyone i know I've been away for way too long, But i promise i will fill you all in very soon in the next coming posts. Today i will just like to share a quick "Outfit of the day" from a few days ago of me purchasing and wearing my first jumpsuit ever, I felt that with having a belly that a jumpsuit would never be flattering on me, That is until my sweet mother gave me a gift card to Macy's this past Christmas and i just kept it in my wallet for a few months because i have never really shopped at Macy's and really didn't know if they even sold plus size clothing. One day on my day off i decided to stop in to look at some perfume or makeup being that my gift was for only $50.00, while looking around i stopped a employee and simply asked if they carried  plus size clothes and to my surprise she said yes and pointed me in the right direction, Of course as expected the section was very small and had a lot of blouses for grandma, But on one rack were two jumpsuits that caught my eye and made me want to try them on. I decided on the one on the right because i felt a little more comfortable that it was a bit more busy and hides my tummy a little better then the other But after I have wore it a few times i kind of wish i would have got the other or if not both, But still love it and glad i took a chance on this jumpsuit.

Outfit Of The Day

Today's outfit of the day is a featuring Torrid (Top) and Curvy Phenoms Boutique (Bottom) , This look is very simple but still wearable for different occasions, from work to a dinner date  on any day of the week. I have been updating my closet with staple pieces such as a stylist black top to pair with any look and a blue skirt, For some reason I have been wanting a blue and hot pink pencil skirt really bad  and I'm still searching for my pink.
The black sheer top was purchased during Torrid's 1/2 off sale and I was able to snag this top and a pair of shoes for under $17.00. I was very pleased with my purchase because I rarely shop Torrid because I'm a bit cheap and about time I'm finished added up the cost for one item plus shipping I have already exited off the website and decided to wait for a sale that I'm sure I'm going to miss, But thank goodness for Instagram and my followers and those I'm following alerting me about the sale at that time. My blue fitted pencil skirt is from a new curvy Boutique I recently blogged about  Click here to read called Curvy Phenoms Boutique, I was very excited to receive this skirt and the beautiful packaging that it came in made the experience even better. This skirt hugs my curves just right , you cant help but feel sexy when wearing it.  I have other plan for both this skirt and top but wanted introduce the two first. Let the church say "Leopard"

It's a good day here at "Plus Size Brittany's Blog" today, Why? Because this is my first post with my new professional Canon Rebel XI camera, I'm so glad I can finally give you all quality pictures. Today's OOTD    (SUNDAY) post is for my leopard lovers such as myself, Its so bad that my friends have to remind me that I already have too much leopard when out shopping and I spot something leopard. In my closet I have a leopard dress, 2 shirts, pencil skirt, blazer, belt and 2 pairs of leopard shoes, I don't think that is too much do you?

OOTD "COLOR BLOCKING IN MIAMI"

Hello my beautiful readers today I wanted to share with you this cute color blocking dress that I wore while I'm Miami about 2weeks ago, I felt sexy and confident while wearing this dress even though I was at a well known Miami strip club around naked women I still felt " Bad" lol I purchased  this dress from a plus size clothing Boutique that I follow on Instagram called " VOLUMPTUOUS ME BOUTIQUE" and what I love about them is that they have very reasonable prices and keeps up with the latest trends, So go follow and let them know @Plussizebrittany sent you. 

4th of July OOTD

Hello everyone I hope you all had a great 4th of July, I was able to enjoy the little time I did have after I got off work at 6pm and after the rain decided to stop. I'm here I'm Florida and it has rained everyday this week ruining any plans to do outside. But after the day was over I can  say I did enjoy my day which consisted of family cookout,  fireworks snd quality time with my boyfriend,  I didn't really put much thought into my 4th of July outfit due to lack of energy. I originally purchased this dress from Ross to wear on this day, But this was months ago and now it really didn't look that fabulous to me anymore since I already wore it once,  But by simply adding a red belt and red wedge heels I think I made it work, felt good about it and I got many compliments. What do you think of my outfit choice?  And how would you have styled this dress? 

The ROSS files

Hey readers glad you could stop by, I wanted to share a quick post with you about one of my favorite stores to shop for dresses ROSS, So many people overlook them and are really missing out of wallet friendly fashionable clothing, They have dresses for every occasion I promise. Today on my way home from work I couldn't resist turning into the Ross parking lot to see what I could find less then $20.00 and I think i came across some cute dresses.   This will be the first of many posts of "THE ROSS FILES" so enjoy these looks and please comment your thoughts of them, I added the color blocking pink and orange dress and the black and red dress to my closet,  Can't wait to wear th em.  until next post be blessed and say yes to dresses.

SPOTLIGHT "Pandora Lynn" CHATS WITH PSB

PSB:What inspired you to pursue plus size modeling?

Pandora Lynn:I think just the appreciation people started showing me when I started to appreciate myself was what led me to pursue modeling. I was approached about it on several occassions before I started working as a model. After my first show, I could not deny that there is something people see in me, and I dont want to hide that. Its confidence, love, faith, and hope that comes from my soul that really makes a difference when living in this world, and people can see that.
 

PSB:how many years of experience do you have modeling?

Pandora Lynn:I have modeled for just about two years now.

PSB:What are your goals as a plus model?

Pandora Lynn:I want to continue to do runway, and hopefully get into commercial, and more print modelling. I would like to be more in the entertainment business as an actress, as well as the music industry. More than anything I just want to keep inspiring women of any size to be happy with who they are; because beauty opens doors, but only virtue can enter. I feel like I represent that in any picture, or show that I do.

PSB:Who /What is your inspiration?

Pandora Lynn:My mother is my inspiration. She taught me the value of a human being. She taught me that no matter if you agree with what they do or who they are, they are still here, and everyone has a heart. So, you love them in the midst of anything. You dont have to put yourself around them, or be hurt by them. But, you never turn someone away who needs love, even if it means just giving a friendly smile. I think that plays a big part in being successful as a Plus Size Model. I run into so many walks of life each and every day. It is about standing strong in who I am, and who I want to be. Whether its in front of the camera, down the runway, or just embracing people at an event; it is something I have to value in myself, because that is the only way anyone else will value me too.

PSB:Who are your favorite Plus size designers/Retailers?

Pandora Lynn:I am a fan of the boutique "The Ultimate Dressing Room" in Houston, Texas and "N-V-US Fashions" in San Antonio, Texas. I like to shop at DOTS, Lane Bryant, Rainbows, and Ashley Stewart. I just started working with "Lady L Designs" as one of her first plus size models for her plus size line she added to her petite line. She is a wonderful designer and I am so excited to travel down that road with her.

PSB:What is your favorite fashion Trend this year? (Optional)

Pandora Lynn:The trend for me right now is short skirts, fitted tops, and a trucker hat (worn backwards or frontwards).

PSB:Favorite quote of all time

Pandora Lynn:"Sometimes this world will turn your life upside down, so you can start living right side up."

PSB:Do you have any upcoming events we should look out for?

Pandora Lynn:My first photoshoot with Lady L Designs is coming up this week, so pictures will be posted on facebook soon. Also, I will be modelling for Clear Hair Products at a hair show in Rosenberg, Texas. I am hoping this summer fills up with more events to come.
